Friends! Did you know that today, January 12th, is National Take the Stairs Day? 🙂 Every year, the American Lung Association uses this day to help spread awareness about healthy routines and how stair climbing can help improve overall health. Whether you’re looking to quit smoking, lose a few pounds, expand your cardiovascular stamina or support your mental health, exercise will help. And when it comes to stairs, Pittsburgh can’t be beat. We have nearly 900 flights of pubic stairs to choose from! If you’re looking for suggestions of city steps to explore, message me. I’m happy to help.
And if you want to feel good while doing good to help those with compromised lung functioning, the ALA’s 2022 Fight For Air Climb takes place at PNC Park on March 19. Volunteer or donate to this fundraiser, and you’ll gain access to the lower bowl of the baseball field and enjoy one-of-a-kind views of the city skyline.
