Description
This is a flat 8×12 risograph print of the Middle Street city steps in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood. The folded version of this print is used to create the package for the trading cards included in Volume 6, Issue 1. A painting of this location (by Pittsburgh artist Cynthia Cooley) graces the cover of the second edition of Bob Regan’s book, Pittsburgh Steps: The Story of the City’s Public Stairways.
Please note that your copy will be similar to the image shown above. However, it’s important to know that each print may have some slight variations in color and color alignment. These are not mistakes or defects but rather how the Risograph printer interprets the images. Keep in mind, the machines used to print these cards were manufactured in the mid-1980s and the look is very different from what we’re accustomed to today.
