Volume 6, Issue 1 includes 10 randomly selected risograph printed “trading cards” from public stairways #661 – #739. Wondering what flights were included in this issue? This issue is packaged in an envelope that can be unfolded to reveal an 8×12 risograph print of the Middle Street city steps in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood. A painting of this location (by Pittsburgh artist Cynthia Cooley) graces the cover of Bob Regan’s book. Flat prints of this image can be purchased for $5 in the online shop.

These are not mistakes or defects but rather how the Risograph printer interprets the images. Keep in mind, the machines used to print these cards were manufactured in the mid-1980s and the look is very different from what we’re accustomed to today.
