I’m very excited to announce that in 2024 I’ll be working with Velum Fermentation and Hilltop Coffee to offer urban hikes through the South Side Slopes’ famous steps.
These two-hour-long guided history/walking tours show off the sights of the South Side via pedestrian stairs and teach some fun historical facts about the ‘Burgh along the way! All tours start and end at Velum, with a stop at Hilltop Coffee on Arlington Avenue (ideal for beverages hot and cold and restroom facilities!). The $12 ticket includes a Hilltop Coffee coupon and a Velum post-tour beer. Tickets are limited for each tour, so get yours today. Sturdy shoes are required. Dogs and children 8+ years of age are welcome.
All tickets are sold through Eventbrite, and tour dates are scheduled every month starting on Sunday, February 25. The walk begins promptly at 11 am and ends around 1 pm.
