The sun can be harsh and unrelenting, but in the early morning hours of the day, the lazy, hazy glow can wake a quiet walkway with its gentle kiss. Revealing a magical landscape worthy of awe and adoration.
Field Notes: I’ve walked along Purse Way so many times on the Threadbare tours and it never loses its charm. And I do wonder what the status is of that orphan house near the Harpster Street stairs – kind of sad and a little creepy and not totally abandoned looking.

All problems, both broken stairs, and railings, as well as trash and dumping, should be reported to the city. You can easily do this online or by calling.
